Welcome to Madlibs, a literary blog created by me, Madelynne Bowyer.
I created Madlibs as a space to rejuvenate and reignite my love of reading and writing. I am currently studying English Literature at university in London, which I love, but I needed something to inspire me to read for fun again – and be able to write about and share it with others. As an aspiring writer, I wanted to focus on reading the types of books I want to write myself, something that was missing from my reading lists for university. This is as much a space for me to inspire and motivate myself as it is somewhere that I hope will do the same for others.
My plan for this blog is to review and write about my experiences and the books that I’m reading at the moment, particularly those I’m reading outside of my English Literature degree. Expect to see reviews and recommendations for books, theatre and film, as well as musings and lifestyle posts inspired by what I am reading and writing about.
